In 1966, W. Irby Moncure, Jr., CLU (Chartered Life Underwriter) left John Hancock Life Insurance Company and joined his uncle in the business, which is now located at 203 South Main Street in Blackstone.

Now retired, Irby loves the outdoors and enjoys turkey hunting and Chesapeake Bay fishing.
He received his Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation in 1987 from the Professional Insurance Agents of Virginia.
David Lee serves as president of the agency, and primarily focuses his time on personal lines and commercial property and casualty insurance lines.
He joined his uncle Eustace C. Moncure in Blackstone as a Property & Casualty agent in 1966.
