You know you'll get personalized, dedicated service when you call our team of experienced pros. Ostrander Insurance Agency was founded in 1979 by Dick Ostrander when he began operations in a downtown office in Franklin, MA. Dick's father had encouraged him to start his own business, which he did shortly after graduating from Holy Cross College. Several years after opening the Franklin location, a second office was opened in nearby Bellingham, MA in 1984.
The Bellingham office building where the business is currently located was purchased in 1989. At that same time, a key hire was made when Lorraine Long joined the staff at Ostrander Insurance. Lorraine proved herself an invaluable asset to the business for over 25 years, acting as manager of the Bellingham office until her retirement. In 2013, a substantial addition was put on the Ostrander Insurance office building in Bellingham.
The new expansion allowed for consolidation of both the Franklin & Bellingham offices into a single location with plenty of off-street parking in a bright, new setting.
