This enrollment period only applies to people who use a drug plan or are in the Medicare Advantage program.
This is a strict Federal timeline.
Once you are enrolled in either of those programs, you will remain there for the next calendar year.
The biggest misconception most people have is that this time period also applies to your Medicare Supplement.
It does not apply to your Supplement.
Unlike the Special Enrollment Period, you are free to change your Medicare Supplement Plan at any time throughout the year, as long as you can answer basic Health questions.
This is a strict Federal timeline.
