Richard Schultz, the owner of Financial Resources Company began working in the Investment/ Insurance / Employee Benefit business in 1985, as a Multi-Line Agent for Farm Family Insurance Company based in Glenmont, NY.
Beginning in 1992 while working for Alvest Financial Services at Albany Savings Bank, he began to market and sell Employee Benefit Plans to all businesses in the greater Capital District area.
As such, he was the first Alvest employee to offer Employee Benefits through Albany Savings Bank on a dedicated basis.
