Founded in 1897 by a local banker by the name of Bowen, our great Aunt Flaude Cleveland, who one day would also find herself in the banking industry, purchased the agency from Mr. Bowen in 1900 and we are proud to have four generations continue the tradition of serving local families for all of their insurance needs.
As testimony to the family's longevity in the insurance industry, a 75 year service plaque was presented to the agency in the Spring of 2005 by Auto-Owners Insurance Company of Lansing, Michigan.
