The Jeff Martin Agency started in 1992. Jeff is a Garland TX native and taught school in Garland ISD for 10 years from 1983-1992. He is a graduate of South Garland HS, University of North Texas for his undergraduate degree and has his Masters Degree in Education Administration from Texas A&M University Commerce (formerly East Texas State University).
Jeff's wife, Teresa Trull Martin, joined the Agency a couple of years later after her teaching career and is a licensed agent in the office as well. Teresa is a native Arkansan and attended Ouachita Baptist University. Teresa was a choral music teacher in Arkansas and Texas, where she and Jeff met while teaching. Jeff began his insurance career with Farmers Insurance Group in 1992 and then decided to "Go Independent" in late 1999.
The Jeff Martin Agency represents several companies, Travelers, Hartford (an authorized to offer AARP agent) Safeco (A Liberty Mutual Company) Kemper, Allied (A Nationwide Company) MetLife auto and home and Progressive to name a few.
