I moved to Milwaukee in 2010 to attend the Peck School of the Arts at University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee. I presumed I had found my passion and worked hard to get my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance. Being the eleventh of twelve children, I had to work while in school and took a job working for a State Farm Agent, starting in 2012. It was there that I "accidentally" discovered my true passion.
I really loved helping people protect their loved ones, their property and their financial futures. Their stories, concerns, and aspirations really mattered to me. Helping people meet their goals became MY goal. Not only did I discover my professional passion while I was at UW-Milwaukee, I also found my life's partner. After graduating with my B.F.A., I married Andy Ashley and we moved to the Louisville area.
I worked for another State Farm agent for the year we were there, and then returned to my old boss when we moved back to Wisconsin. This time, there were three of us moving as Evey, our rescue dog, had joined us.
